Thought for the Day

During the 1919 - 1933 American Prohibition, PBR turned their beer facilities into a cheese making facility. When prohibition ended PBR sold their cheese making operation to a company now know as Kraft.

Read more about PABST here, http://www.roanoke.com/food/goodlibations/wb/297438.

The OBX is going to have a beer festival in May, I'm currently scouring the internet and looking for suggestions for good beer festivals. Think we should have a PBR drinking hipster only beer fest? It might bring some underground culture to the OBX. . . .

What I'm into lately:

  1. Cool! I found out this weekend on a Coors brewery tour that they made malted milkshakes during Prohibition! Hopefully they were better than most of their beers...
